Thomas Henry Pope is a veteran songwriter and actor who sees writing novels as his calling. Rooted in literary fiction, his stories run the gamut from political and psychological thrillers to historical, speculative, and metaphysical fiction. His love of the natural world
yields novels that give the landscapes as much agency to influence events as his characters have. His world travels have provided the ground for his novels of Eastern Europe and Asia and he is fortunate to count the magical California redwoods as close friends. The counterbalance to his peripatetic style is his home in Vermont, which has his heart.
