Mid-life Crisis Mystic, an ordinary, monarchist, mum-of-three, and long-suffering wife of Welsh, anti-royalist Boy Scout, is struggling to find meaning in love and life. Convinced there is more to existence than ‘Celebrity Sandcastles’, Terry’s Chocolate Orange and Grand Marnier, she ‘free-trials’ her way into the city’s latest New Age venue. Here she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, leading her to an unexpected reunion with Monsieur Hôtel and his chiselled jaw. But then something strange happens. Out of the blue, she doesn’t just see the light, she becomes a beacon of it, and her life will never be the same again.
