I’ve written a number of YA novels and chapter books, plus a handful of adult novellas and co-written one adult comic novel. Mr Jones is my first solo adult novel. My YA novels include Soul Shadows, a horror story about flesh-eating shadows that was shortlisted for the Falkirk Red Book Award; Chronosphere, a time-warping science fiction trilogy that has also been published in Mandarin Chinese; and Dread Eagle, a steampunk adventure that was one of Lovereading4kids’ books of the year. My Victorian supernatural thriller Aldo Moon was described by bestselling author Peter James as “witty, ghostly and at times deliciously ghastly”. I’m a regular author for Fiction Express, online publishers of interactive stories for schools and two of my stories have won reader awards.
