Walking over Eggshells
Walking over Eggshells is the biography of a child whose mother couldn't love her. Time after time she attempted to escape but the shadow of her parent was always present. Through 8 countries, a variety of jobs, from millionaire to poverty and part way back up, her life was a whirlwind of experiences. She met world leaders, celebrities, royalty and rural folk in far-flung African villages. She hosted ambassadors, cleaned toilets and sewed giant teddy bears. She did what she had to, to survive and support her children, her Walter Mitty husband, the home help, the St Bernard and a menagerie of small furry animals. She 'fell' into the media by chance and has been writing for over 40 years. This is her story.
