To Wed an Earl
A decision made before she was born has set the scope of Hannah’s life. She has lived quite happily as the daughter of a village Vicar, despite knowing that she is, by birthright, entitled to a far higher status. But when her stepfather dies, and a new Vicar is appointed to the living, she is left with others to support, and little recourse but to reach out to the relatives she has never known.
An ultimatum delivered from beyond the grave has changed the path of Robert, Lord Tarynholt’s, future. No matter how he might try to find a better answer, he can only see options which lead to disaster for those who depend upon him, or complete misery for Robert himself. So, when a friend privately presents him with a possible solution, he acts immediately.
As circumstance draws them together, will Robert and Hannah come to truly care for each other? Or will their hidden ulterior motives destroy both their chance at love, and the opportunity for Hannah to heal the wrongs of her family’s past?
