Herb Hughes

I write in the present, but write about the past and future, both historical fiction and science fiction. My works include two historical fiction novels about the American civil war and five science fiction novels with various themes. I do not write the typical galactic shoot-em-ups, but prefer a more thoughtful approach to the genre. My novel, Conecuh, was awarded the Bronze Medal in Historical Fiction in the eLit Literary Awards.
