Welcome! My name is Jan, an IT professional and now an author and storyteller. I’m an ordinary person taken on an extraordinary journey. God revealed to me His truth: “ My children each have a great destiny, come join Me for yours!”
What if I told you that it took getting hit by a semi-truck to wake me up? It's true.
Growing up in a middle-class neighborhood in the midwest, I eventually became very successful in the world of Information Technology. Then life threw things at me, just like everyone else. It finally took getting hit by a semi-truck to awaken and finally know that God is real. And still, I didn’t understand why bad things kept happening. Yeah, they did. But God was there the whole time.
Truth is, I walked away from God at one point with disdain, thinking I could do it all without His leadership. Chasing me down, He came right when I needed Him. He still does. Then He told me that His children really need to know His love and authentic character. That’s when the Spirit of God told me I’m His writer, and He is my CEO.
This birthed my writing career and A Song of Love: How Jesus Breathes Life Into Destiny.
Finally, while finishing my first book in 2019, it was time to make tremendous changes in my life for God. In obedience, I lay my life down. He’s really amazing. I’m not a highly educated person of faith, did not go to seminary school. My knowledge has come from the U of HK (the University of His Kingdom). Yet this is my calling. I am merely a vessel for God. I hope my writing, with God as my Pilot, encourages you in this very challenging world.

Even in the toughest times, please know this. Jesus is there, waiting. He always was, he always will be. And Jesus loves you far, far more than I could ever possibly describe.
