PD Dawn is a lover of many things: Jesus; her man in life of 38 years, great coffee, all things vanilla, adventure travel, a good book, ‘cold case’ and mystery shows, biographies, museums and wandering through cemeteries imagining the stories the dash represents between the date of birth and date of death. It wasn’t until she started writing that she realized many of her interests are about history.
She is passionate about one: encouraging women through the Word of God with transparency in life experiences. Dawn shares from her heart about marriage, mistakes, mercy and more.

Dawn writes Historical Christian Fiction because not only does learning about the characters in past events hold a key to how we can deal with today’s issues, but because, as she has discovered herself - God longs to be with us as we deal with those issues – both the big and the small.

Dawn is an internationally qualified Beauty Therapist. From 1993 until 2009 she owned and operated two successful businesses before moving into the world of admin. Dawn published her first novel in The Coin Trilogy, Because of Mercy in 2021. She also published her testimony in ‘Love, Pedal, Hope’ in 2022 and is currently working on two and a half books soon to be released.
Dawn lives in Canterbury, New Zealand with her husband of thirty-five years and is mum to Tom their black Labrador and Gracie-Lou, a ragdoll cat and Tom’s best buddy.
