Saddled with Death

Emma Haythorne isn’t the only one dismayed by the quarrelsome visitors who arrive at her neighbour’s sheep station on the Murray River. Nor is she one to step away from a problem. So when one of those visitors turns up dead in the stable, and that old promise rears it ugly head, she’s prepared to investigate the death. But the promise? Well, she’ll avoid that if she can. Of course, if she draws the attention of the killer the promise won’t matter anyway.
