Cross Promotion Details

Book Luver is running a Summer Bumper Book Bonanza. If you would like to join this cross promotion, please check the details below. If this promotion does not interest you, take a look at other ways you can promote your book on Book Luver.

  • Free to enter
  • The entrants will be given a choice of which books they want to win. They can enter to win all the books in the promotion or just select the books they would like to win
  • This way you are ensured that the winner will be genuinely interested in reading your book and you will not get names of people who wanted to win other books
  • If you donate 20 eBooks you get 20 winners name. If you donate 200 eBooks, you get 200 winners names. However, if your book only receives 50 entrants, you get all those 50 entrants.
  • Entrants are given the option to 'opt-in' to receive more from you. If they do this, you get all the entrants who have selected to hear from you. This is vitally important for the new GDPR data rules.

Dates

To give authors lots of time to promote the link plus to get loads of entries, the promotion will run from the middle of July to the end of August.

Winners

You will get a list of the winners at the end of the promotion and you will send them your book. You can do this via a gift on Amazon or BookFunnel.

Terms

  • Free to enter
  • You commit to promote the giveaway in your newsletter within 7 days of the promotion
  • If you don't share it this way, your book is automatically removed from the promotion and we tell the entrants that you pulled out
  • We have no way of knowing how many will want to enter for your book, but previous promotions with lots of participating authors have resulted in some genres receiving anything between 1 and 2000 entrants
  • You will NOT receive the email data for any other author's entrants. You will only receive emails of winners from your book - this protects the entrants from being on mailing list they don't want and ensures your entrants WANT to read YOUR book!
  • Book Luver reserves the right to reject any book that does not fit the high quality we expect as we are also including books from high street publishers.

DATA NOTE:
You get the winners of your book plus anyone who has ticked the box to say they want to hear from you. The new GDPR rules are very specific about giving data and it is not legal to give data if the entrant has NOT ticked a box to give permission. So there is a tick box asking if they want to hear from you, if they tick that box, you get those as well as the winners. Entry Form Details

  • The Amazon link below will enable us to get the image of your book and description
  • You can enter your Reader Magnet book, but we still need an Amazon link to get the image
  • The number of books you giveaway = if you donate 20 eBooks you get 20 winners name. If you donate 200 eBooks, you get 200 winners names. However, if your book only receives 50 entrants, you get all those 50 entrants.
  • The number of subscribers is how many readers you have on your mailing list
  • The mailing list sign up link is for us to sign up to your list to prove you are sending the promotion link to your list. Please do not give us a link and then tell us later that you changed the link and forgot to inform us. The term in point 3 above will still stand. The fairest way for all authors to benefit in a cross promotion is for everyone to share the link.
